WP6. Dissemination and valorisation of results (M1-36+12)

Objectives

This WP runs throughout the 36 months of the project and the subsequent 12 allotted to dissemination. It aims to maximise the dissemination and valorization of the project’s findings through: the project website; the promotion of public engagement actions, including local stakeholders workshops; the participation to/organization of conferences; open access publication of research reports on the project website; scientific publications (resources will be set aside to purchase ‘open access’ licences).

Activities

Set up (D0) and running (M3-48) of the project website
Presentation of main findings from WP1 and WP2 at national/international conferences (C1, around M16)
Creation of networks of local stakeholders (from M13) involved in WP4
Periodic ‘local stakeholder workshops’ (LSW) at each RU
Presentation of selected findings from WP3 and WP4 at national/international conferences (C2, between M28 and M30) - Publication of WS1, WS2, WS3 and WS4 output in the form of scientific articles and edited volumes (D2, D6)
Final project conference, with invited discussants from academia and major policy-making institutions (C3, M36)
Publication – ‘open access’ – of edited volume (in English), with main findings of the project (D8)

Final Project Conference

On June 20 and 21 2024, at the Aula Magna 'Ludovico Quaroni' of the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, the Final Project Conference 'Policies for Southern Italy in the 21st Century. Lessons learned and future scenarios' will be held.

NMP 2024 International Symposium

On May 22, 23 and 24 2024, at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, PRIN research units will participate in the International Symposium 'Networks, Markets & People. Communities, Institutions and Enterprises towards post-humanism epistemologies and AI challenges' with the Thematic Session 'European Cohesion Policy and Regional Operational Programs in Calabria from 2000 to 2020 between Learning Processes and Structural Constraints'.

Regional Studies Association Winter Conference 2023

On 9 and 10 November 2023, the Winter Conference 2023 of the Regional Studies Association was held at the Great Cumberland Place Hotel in London. PRIN research units participated in the Special Session 'The evolution, implementation, and impact of community-led, place-based and territorially integrated local development programmes in the context of the European Cohesion Policy for less developed regions'.
